Replace sensor - no sucess

I'm trying to use the "Replace" function as described in the manual. However, the new sensor does not show up in dropdown menu. I'm doing everything exactly as in the manual. What might be wrong?

the replace function only shows you devices with the same type / subtype as the source device

Thank you for reply. I'm not sure why my sensors suddenly need to be "replaced", the hardware hasn't changed. I think maybe openzwave upgrade caused it. In case the new version of openzwave has changed the type of sensor - what can I do?

If you are referring to the change of some Zwave devices that happened in 4.11324, then the good news is that this bug has been fixed in V4.11333.
If you install that version, the "old" devices will be updated again.

I wasn't aware of this bug, I'm just a user who is happily ignorant until something bad happens.
Had to rebuild it because the OS had boost upgrade.
Mine tells me: Version: 4.11328, will run git pull now ...
Edit: Thanks alot! Fixed.

Spoke too soon. Temperature is fixed, but old humidity is still missing. I wonder if all the past data from humidity sensors is lost for good?

As far I know and from my own experience with this I am not aware that the code changes caused devices to be removed. Isn't your old humidity device still there ? Could it have been deleted by the replace action ? If it's really deleted from the database, the only way to restore the data is to get it from a backup database.
Please describe your situation in a bit more detail.

Woke up this morning and found the bogus humidity sensors have disappeared overnight. The original nodes re-appeared. So it took time for some reason. All good now.
Thanks again! Domoticz is great.
