Yeelight color bulb firmware v2.0.6_0051 problem

Post by Balazs1 »

Hi!

After FW upgrade, running a dzVents script puts Yeelight bulb in offline state after a short period of time.
Anyone else having similar problem? Got no clue what to do. Firmware downgrade is not possible in my opinion.

Sorry but to be able to understand (let alone try to help), I need some more info.

Whch version of domoticz / dzVents ?
What is the dzVents command that results in the Yeelight bulb to go offline ?
Did it work with earlier versions of the Yeelight firmware ?
Does it work when you give the same command from the Yeelight app ?

btw. My Yeelights are all on firmware 1.4.2_0076 and Google shows tons of problems with fw 2.x.x_xxxx
Debian buster, bullseye on RPI-4, Intel NUC.
dz Beta, Z-Wave, RFLink, RFXtrx433e, P1, Youless, Hue, Yeelight, Xiaomi, MQTT

Of course it worked before firmware upgrade. I don't know what was the previous version. The problem is not that the bulb doesn't do the assigned command. The problem is it goes offline after a short period of time. Untill then it works normally.
I don't think you can help me unless you downgrade my device. It turned out if no dzVents script was running it went offline too. Maybe I need to completly turn off LAN controll in the app to prevent the device to go offline after some time. Anyways, the app functions itself are working untill goes offline.

Hi,

Firmware v2.0.6_0054 solved the problem, but with v2.0.6_0065 I am having exactly the same issue. :(
