Hi guys,

I bought a "Vision Security ZG8101 Garage Door Detector". I have included it and the following devices are detected:

00011F00 1 Sensor Light/Switch Switch Off
00011F35 1 Home Security Light/Switch Switch Off
00011F35 7 Alarm Type: Home Security 7 General Alarm Event: 0x00 (0)

When I tilt the sensor I can see the following in the log:

2019-08-18 00:53:07.305 Status: OpenZWave: Alarm received (Home Security: Clear)


But the "Sensor" never seems to switch state (on/off) it is always set to "off".

I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong. Anyone else that has a zg8180? Please help

Hi again,

It turned out that I was still using Open Z-Wave 1.4. When I started to use 1.6 the sensor started to work as expected.
