Hi,

Today I finally received my Aeotec Doorbell6.
After reading the forums I noticed that the XML files and z-wave support was in place for this hardware and I was actually able to add the device in Domoticz.
But...
When I fiddled a bit more for the configuration of this device I saw (https://community.home-assistant.io/t/a ... 2/126673/3) that this device need open z-wave 1.6 support for changing the ring tone, volume etc. etc.

So here's my question: When can I make use of open z-wave 1.6 protocol for my new hardware device connected to my domoticz controller?

Kind Regards,
Raymond

OZW version 1.6 is in the recent Beta versions.

I put OpenZWave 1.6 in the debify repository and I built the Debian/Raspbian packages from the beta, using OpenZWave 1.6

It would be really helpful if people can test that permutation and provide feedback

I will first have to buy myself a second RPI.
When I have done that I would be glad to help.

Kind Regards,
Raymond
