I am getting a 3-clamp Zwave power meter. https://aeotec.com/z-wave-home-energy-measure/

I can of course add that as a normal hardware and then measure usage
But as I will be moving it around the house to measure different devices,
what would be the best way to keep track of all the different devices i measure

Do I have to delete and re-add it every time, or is there some plugin that can help
with temporarily assigning a this (each clamp) to different consumers and thus
keep historical data

I am aware that I will not get useful averages as long as a device is not measured
for a while because I moved it elsewhere, but eg if I moved it to the fridge for a week and
then again a few weeks later, i'd like to have the historical data kept for that fridge
and not intermixed with data for some other device

Are you aware that with an clamp meter it needs to clamp only around the phase and not on return and phase at the same time.When you measure phase and return the same time the sum of current is 0 of your measurement. And this is what your doing when measuring around an wire of an fridge.
Also does the 3 phase meter needs an reference to the voltage of the line you measure. Only measuring with the clamp will only tell the current but not the voltage. Therefore the power can’t be calculated. As the meter doesn’t come with an socket it will be difficult to move it around through the house for different devices. Unless you make some sort of cord which you place between the device and socket were you take off the line voltage and clamp only on 1 wire the current sensor
