How to replace a Xiaomi Sensor keeping the same device ? Topic is solved

Hi,

I have a defective Xiaomi temperature sensor. I can add the new one but I'd like to keep and continue the data history on the same Domoticz device.

How the best way to do that ? I don't mind if it requires doing sqlite database update while domoticz not running.

ps : The scripts are not the problem because I always use name to identify my devices in there.

Did you read the manual, page 20

Add the new device with a new name, you will have a new idx value

On the old device edit | replace, and select the new device

All the history will transfer

Remove the old device from setup | devices

Rename the new device with the old name
