I have a question about how to install a Dahua camera (dome) which is connected via a Dahua NVR 4108 via POE to the cam menu of Domoticz like any other camera.
Is it possible to add them to the Cameras section in Domoticz.
I know that it is possible to add them standalone, but if you add them into the gui of the NVR, the NVR does give them an ip adress which can only be watched via the Dahua software.
If it is not possible, maybe you can install the camera via an external POE switch and connect them to the NVR?

Yep it should be possible, what you want to do is find the snapshot URL to get a picture from the Dahua NVR.

Is there some information somewhere where i can find the proper information to set this up in Domoticz? I am pretty lost right now.

If you have an Android phone connected to your network that the cameras are on use an app called Onvifer this will find cams put in Username/password and it should give you all the info u need.

well yes, it should be possible, what you want to do is find the URL to get an image from the Dahua NVR.

Hello, i'm new here. I recently bought dahua NVR5216-16P-4KS2E and some cameras IPC-HFW2831T-ZAS-S2. I connected the cameras on the nvr and everything is working. Now i want to try to add the system to domoticz but i can't get it working.
NVR has ip in the range of 192.168.0.XXX and cameras connected in the NVR have 10.1.1.XXX.
I tried to put the ip adress of the nvr in domoticz but don't know what port i need to set. Tried already different ones but no succes. I also don't know the image url of the camaras. I can not find this url. Tried to look at ispy but my camera is not there. Can someone help me to set it up so it's working?

I got it working with this : cgi-bin/snapshot.cgi?chn=0. Port 443 https.
I can only see the first camera. Tried already with changing the channel nr but no luck? Anyone know what i can do to get a visual of the other cameras?
