Future of Dashticz

Hello Dashticz users,

Personally I'm using Dashticz on a daily base and I'm pretty happy with it. I contributed to the project by making several changes, including documentation updates.
Although there still are some developments on Dashticz I noticed that the time between Dashticz updates is becoming quite long. That is not good for the project, because that the delays the improvement cycles we make, and the feedback we get from the community.

That raises the question how the future of Dashticz will look like, and how to continue.

What I propose is to create new version of Dashticz. Let's call it DashticzV3. We start with a clone of the most recent Dashticz v2, release a master version, and make some additional updates to the documentation. We then will have a base for Dashticz v3 for further developments.

I can create the new Github location and repository. I can spend some time on making the changes and the merges into the repository, but I can not do that alone. I need a few persons that are willing to help with the coding, addressing Github issues, updating documentation, translations or answering questions in the forum.

So let me hear your ideas on how to continue with Dashticz, and whether you would like to contribute to the further developments of Dashticz. Any help is welcome.

Sander.

I can't code well, but I would like to support with documentation. As an engineer I know it is important to have accurate procedures that are not interpretable in multiple ways.
