Domoticz

Hi All,

I am fairly new to zigbee and I have this small issue.

I have setup a conbee II with Deconz plugins.
Within the phoscon App I have setup 2 switched which are in a single group.

I can see both switches and the group in domoticz.

I can turn on/off the group from domoticz But I cannot do a thing with the individual switches.
The status of the switch is not communicated with domoticz.. And I can not turn the individual switch on/off

Am I doing something the wrong way?

Ok,

I may have found my problem (maybe someone can confirm?)
I had removed the group from the gateway (phoscon app) and added the switch as individual in domoticz (had to reboot to update the devices)
Now I can switch on/off the switches individual and I also see a status.

So as a conclusion: groups should not be made on the gateway but in domoticz.
If anyone could confirm this, I would be very happy.

Wich kind of switches they are ? Passive switch that can only send command, or active one, that can receive command to active their integrated relay ?
It's not same, the first one is a sensor, the second one is a "bulb".

Have you tried in Phoscon ? If it works on Phoscon and not domoticz, there is a bug.

In Domoticz they are represented by bulb or switch ? Take care on active switch you can have 2 device in Domoticz, 1 switch + 1 bulb.
In your first try, you haven't error message on logs (when you make group in phoscon with the 2 switches, and try to send command with domoticz )?

If you want to make zigbee groups better to use Phoscon/Gateway (there is somes specials features), if you want to mix zigbee+zwave+wifi device use Domoticz groups. So if your precedure is good, I think I have a problem.

I am using Phoscon/gateway.
The switches are from OSRAM and they are displayed as switches in Domoticz. Although the group was listed as a switch and the individual switches are displayed as walloutlet.

I could switch the switches on/off with the phoscon gateway . o maybe still a bug in domoticz..
But like I said.. I deleted the group in the phoscon gateway and created one in domoticz.. Works just fine.

Displayed as walloutlet ?
In Osram I know only 2 switches.
- Osram SMART+ SWITCH (4058075816459).
- Osram SMART+ SWITCH MINI(4058075051935)
But they are passive, so you can't send command to them.

And I don't see how you can set (or see) a switch state in phoscon too ? I know it's no more a problem for you, but if you have find a situation that work in Phoscon and not Domoticz, you have find a bug. But ATM I can't reproduce it.

Well actually the switches are detected as lights... (see screenshot)

Ok, so they are definitively not switches ^^ (even they have this name for domoticz), but 100% plugs.
I still can't reproduce bug, but I have only 1 to put in a group.
So I have 1 group just for it with only 1 plug.

In domoticz :
- the plug is a "type : light switch, switch,on/off"
- the group is "type colorswitch RGBWWZ, Dimmer

Maybe it's perhaps I m using the last beta version, but your bug is realy strange. If you have time, can you check on domoticz logs (setting/logs) if you have error message in the bugy situation (plug in a group in phoscon)
