Completely agree. It was my last bullet in the comments I gave (a few messages above).
Technically not difficult to do I believe.

I think the homehabit's team doesn't work on domoticz support. Many function (i.e. motion sensors) and many variables from domoticz doesn't work on Homehabit. Am I Right ?

Domoticz API device format is neither uniform nor documented. So sometime, even if majority of devices of some type, such as motion sensors, are supported, there are could be some motion sensors (or other devices) that have different device format in API so the app cannot recognize it.
We are actively going through platforms and adding support for more devices all the time, but if there are some devices missing, please point that out either here or in HomeHabit community, so we can add those sooner. This would be a great help!

Thanks for fast answer...
To integrate homehabit with domoticz i try to test many types of variables, but for example:. I "online" translate my sensors variable from domoticz type of sensors to switch domoticz sensors (insuida domoticz) and homehabit sensor widget can find this but a have no idea witch type variable can be recognize as "last status" in the same widget. This is only one of many problems. Can You show all domoticz types witch can be recognize by homehabit widgets ?

The second question: is possible to display RTSP streams DIRECT from camera ? In Camera Widget you have to add 4-th option: rtsp address, login and password. Do You plan this?

Independly, in my opinion home habbit is the best "wall apps" i ever found :)

If understood correctly that you are trying to show "last update time" on switch or sensor, Domoticz should provide last update time for all devices, so it should not be needed to bind anything for "last update time" when editing widget, just enabling it should be enough. If it doesn't work, please post a screenshot of widget editor screen.
boe666 wrote: Saturday 28 December 2019 7:24 Can You show all domoticz types witch can be recognize by homehabit widgets ?
Since Domoticz types are not well structured, it is hard to list all supported types, since in some cases HomeHabit uses different properties of devices to find a best way to determine device type.
Generally, all devices that could be processed are listed when creating new widget through "recommended" way. If device is unsupported yet, it should say so in that list. If something is not in that list, but you think that it should be, please report this to us, so I can see if support is possible.

Domoticz user variables should be supported in one the upcoming releases, so after that, I would recommend creating a string variable with full rtsp address and then binding that to URL in Camera widget editor

Trying http on my local network..
Can you give a bit of information about the setup:
Is this self-signed certificate?
Does it have matching host name and non-expired?
What is the device Android version?
I also have the same problem with accessing my domoticz on a raspberry using https.
I have a self-signed certificate configured in HAPROXY according to instructions here: https://serversforhackers.com/c/using-s ... th-haproxy
I checked that the host name are correct and it is not expired.
It should be noted that it is in the .ddns.net domain (don't know if that has any influence on the problem)
Can you help with this?
In imperihome it will give a popup with the option to accept the self-signed certificate, would it be possible to do the same on HH?
Thanks

Today homehabit stopped working.

UPDATE MANDATORY

I did the update and everything looks fine, but I really don't like that.

I like my solutions to be independent and as much as possible future-proof.
So many solutions are good and then one day service disappears (g bridge latest) or fees appear or whatever.

What I liked about home habit is that there was no server, and it was just independent. Little did I know you planned a backdoor or system or whatever to force an update.

To me this is a really bad move. You shouldn't have done that. I am not confident anymore in this solution.

The app looked promising but this is really disappointing !

Beta apps are different from regular apps and required updates are typical during beta stages. The reason why this strategy might be necessary is that the purpose for beta is increasing stability and elimination of bugs. Due to that, it only makes sense for all beta users to be on the latest version during testing. Required updates is quite common for beta testing. It will not be included in the official HomeHabit app release.

Last Update Time - working well. It was my mistake.
why engage Domoticz Users Variabel in RTSP URL ? Simplest is create new variable (string) in HomeHabit - it's more independent - in my opinion.

My sugestion: Do you consider voise alert ? (independenly on platform, configurable directly in HomeHabit) ??

It is possible to see RTSP stream direct in HomeHabit. You can change proper value in JSON config file - so it is possible to make special input in homehabit settings to do it directly in app (not on JSON files).
But - when I tried see 6 cameras LIVE in app on dashboard - my tablet hangs (old one, 4 cores, 2gb ram, android 5.0). Now I configured this way: I see in dashboard only screenshots (1 per 2-3s) but when I tap on screen - live streaming showing on modal window (But I don't understand why modal window make all app darker - the backlight screen turn down - I think this is some kind of bug).

I wait for new update !! :)

Hi,

I have 2 password protected switches in my domoticz. HomeHabis report these as unsupported is this normal?
I didn't had a change to check is a normal switch is working (for the moment I'm not able to connect to my domoticz remotely)

Kind regards

Yes the same with me. Switches that are locked are "Unsuported", can that be fixed?

Thank you

Also would like to have Thermostat with "+" "-" buttons, also 0.5 increments.

And it would be great that Clock screensaver moves around every few seconds (avoid burn in on screen)

That is already happening. Clock is moving in a small circle constantly.
Circle is small enough that it is usually not noticeable, but enough that the same pixels are not lit up all the time.

Remote connection is not working for me.

Saw someone with same problem but no answer on that. Its a great app but not much documentation for Domoticz

Does device have Android 9 or later? If so, you need to enable location permission for the app and then go through Domoticz integration setup flow again (no need to remove integration). There is a bug currently, which prevents the app from asking for permission during the setup.

HomeHabit 5.0: Themes

Great release to close out the year. Don't miss the sneak peak at the end.
Happy New Year!

Themes
It is exciting to announce the release of theming capability for dashboards. We are starting off with two new standard themes - Black and Dark. Black theme has been a common request for some time now. While the Dark theme is a fresh variation on the original theme.
This is a great foundation for dashboard theming that will allow us to bring more in the future.
