I have been wondering for a long time whether to present my project, because there is nothing special about it, but you can rate it yourself ...
I would like to present my latest project: smart energy monitor.
The module reads the electricity consumption from each electric meter with an LED. How it's working?
It's simple - the reader module is mounted opposite the meter's LED. He counts light impulses and sends them to the receiving module every hour. In addition, it sends information about the battery level. The receiving module processes the data and sends it to the Domoticz server. The receiving module also measures the strength of the radio signal from the reader module - RSSI.
The reader module is the size of a match pack

Communication between the modules takes place in the 433MHz band.
The receiving module has a built-in ESP8266 page and allows configuration via HTML. We set in it the number of pulses / kWh of the electric meter, the login and password of the home WiFi network, the IP address of the Domoticz server and the sensor ID. The module has been working in my system for a year now and it works perfectly

Power consumption by the receiving module: ~ 0.5W.
If there is interest from other users, I will try to write more details

Here are some photos from my system :
Kind Regards,
