Hello,
I'm a newbie to Domoticz, so please bear with me
I installed DOMOTICZ on a raspberry pi 2 I had left unused.
I plugged a RFXCOMXL on a usb slot.
I manually added a switch with
Hardware : RFXCOMXL,
Name : DOORLIGTH,
Switch type : Dimmer,
Type : AC,
ID : I didn’t change it since it’s the first thing I do on DOMOTICZ
Then I pressed TEST… but nothing happened !
And I tried and tried, I moved the rpi closer to the switch… nothing worked !
HELP !
Thanks for your help.

try by add the switch this way:
go to Switch panel
select LEARN LIGHT/SWITCH button
Activate your switch
the learn process should complete and you should get the new switch

Hello,
I checked on chacon's website, they say it's 433MHz.
Where did you read it's 686 ?
Thanks for your help Lebo2d9.

Hi Opartex,
I saw it on the website of conrad
https://www.conrad.be/p/draadloze-knop- ... term=95895
on the website of chacon they are talking about 433 MHZ
https://www.chacon.be/nl/verlichting/11 ... 45156.html. On a picrure on the conrad website there is a close-up of the dimmer and there it is indicated 433 MHz.

I think have to created a switch manualy. For hardware you take the hardware name you used for your rfxcom reciever, select dimmer for type, type is X10, house and unit code you can take what ever you want, as long they are unique.
Then you push the small button (leaning) on the dimmer and then you click test.
I don't own a dimmer but i have several switches. I think i added them this way.
I found also on a french forum a workaround using the remote control

Kind regards

DIO Chacon with address code wheels is an ARC device and with automatic coding is an AC device.

Hello and thank you for your reply b_weijenberg.
I tested AC, ARC and X10 but nothing works !
When I push test, lights are blinking on the RFXcom, but nothing changes on the DIO chacon...
Any idea ?
Thanks

Please test with RFXmngr:
Is the DIO remote received if you enable AC and ARC?
If you don't have a DIO remote pair the module using Lighting2 - AC and select (do not enter) a random ID and Unit code
