Controlling airflow unit with Zigbee or Zwave?

Post by DespyNL »

Hi,

Our house has a Buva Q-Stream airflow unit installed on the top floor. While using the bathroom we sometimes forget to increase the fan speed by using the remote. Over time this results in mold problems.

I came across a very interesting topic https://www.domoticz.com/forum/viewtopi ... 4&start=20 which describes to control your air flow unit with Domoticz using an ACM-LV10. I don't have a RFXcom unit and I think ~100 euro is a large investment just for this single device. Second, I doubt the range will be sufficient.

Are there any Zigbee or Z-Wave alternatives? I already have a Xiaomi Gateway and Zwave stick. I can only find 0-10v light dimmers, but perhaps it is the same?

I think you can achieve this with a Qubino 0-10V module:
