Start and STOP script blink.py from blockly

Hello,

I have adapted a python script (https://github.com/scns/Domoticz-blinking-light) so that it lets one of my Yeelights blink when I open a door. I want this so that I get a visual warning that there is an open door or window when I leave the house and "arm" Domoticz.

Running the script from blockly works perfect, but I can't figure out how to stop the script from blockly after let say 30 seconds or (preferrably) after closing the open door or window.

How to achieve this? I have searched this forum and google but not found any answers....
