Domoticz

Hi,

As a new member i would like to make myself known and to share my plan to extend my use of domoticz.
Currently domoticz is in use for three years on a Rpi. Almost flawless from the beginning on.
Happy with some IT and programming experience, so not afraid of scripts and command line actions.

Mainly using zwave devices via an Aeotec Gen5 stick.
Currently up and running:
- Qubino switching devices and a dimmer
- a P1 connection to my smart energy meter/gas
- via PVoutput tracking my PV logging and status (Hosola)
- and the usual things as WU etc.
To be done:
- connecting my irrigation controller (Rachio)
- connecting my central heating (CV with radiators and floor heating)
- make some calculations and combining outside temp with my gas usage graphs (not checked how this can be done, opening the database to make some calculations probably and returning the values to the database?)

Dag Geert,

A few years have been passed since your post. I found it by Google the keywords Rachio and Domoticz. Have you been successful with the irrigation connection?

I'm running the Rachio 3 controller and can control it through Alexa, but also like the Domoticz integration via their API.
