"Panic" button on homescreen (iOS/Android)

Post by Anatolis »

Hi all,

I have Domoticz running on a Pi. Works fine and flawlessly.
however, I would like to have a sort of 'panic button' on my homescreen that can turn off an entire scene directly from my homescreen, i.e. by using a command like:

Code: Select all

http://domoticzserver.local:8080/json.htm?type=command&param=switchscene&idx=1&switchcmd=off"
I have no clue where to start searching for this; 1 hour of google-ing didn't give me what I am looking for.

Hopefully you can point me in the right direction?

You could jusr use the widgets from the domoticz app and place those on your home screen or follow this guide for placing buttons with links on your home screen: https://www.howtogeek.com/196087/how-to ... or-tablet/

On Android, I'm not sure about IOs, you could use Firefox or Chrome, visit this address, and choose the option to add this link to the homescreen.

Domoticz 2020.1 (12230) on Raspberry Pi 3B with Raspian Buster. Besides Domoticz, Rpi is running Pi-Hole.
