Some 433 Mhz Temp Sensors

I looked through the forum and found recommendations for the Bresser sensor (£16 in the UK from Amazon ..
https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B0076JGK7U) but I have equally good luck with much cheaper TS-WS-07-XF from ebay (half the price) .. although the ebay model uses AAA cells, and is a bit smaller (and comes from China, so you need to wait-a-bit) . I have them sat next to each other and they are within 0.1c, and 3% RH of each other (but maybe equally wrong .. I don't have lab grade calibration equipment to hand).
For water / pipe temperatures I can highly recommend the:
https://tictail.com/foogadgets/wireless ... sensor-mk3
with add-your-own temperature probes (potentially LOTS of them) .. having tried this, as well as the z-wave Fibaro FBGS-001 multi sensor, I like the RFXCOM foogadgets version better - I can run it from 5v USB power bank (for ages and ages), and while it doesn't help the z-wave network any, it is cheaper and seems to have more than adequate range .. wish it had been easier to find though! The Fibaro needs a wired 9v-12v supply (since it is an always on repeater) which is a PITA in some places.
I'm coming to the conclusion that z-wave is a general PITA, with TKB switches issuing 'time outs', Domitech light bulbs acting flakey, and general network robustness not what I'd like. Yes, duplex comms is nice, but only if it works. I guess Bluetooth and 2.4 Ghz Wifi may take over the world yet ..

These are pretty good too, you do get 2 in the box for £18, I've compared mine to a more expensive Oregon sensor I have and they are within 0.5 for temp and humidity.
https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B07 ... =UTF8&th=1
The seller provides great service too, I bought my Dad the complete kit (Display with 3 sensors for Christmas) and one of the sensors failed, I just emailed them and they sent out a box with 2 in straight away, they also said in their email to me that all their products come with 18 months UK warranty.

Before you buy your own sensor - especially outdoor, try to see if you can not use your neighbor's sensor.
When I connect my RFLink, I can see 97 strangers sensors.
And I do not live in a Housing estate but in a village.
Only one is mine.

So to answer by own question viking. I had to upgrade from the Ext from 1022(1025 did work either) to the Pro1 FW (1035) to make these work, these seem to be reasonable so far will post graphs from the test bench in a few days between the sht31d and my oregon and Cresta/Bresser sensors.
Phill.

Maybe a little wasteful, but I've found the Auriol temperature sensors from Lidl work well with an RFLink. Wasteful, because they come as an internal/external package for (was it?) £7.99 so you get a remote sensor plus a receiver console that you might not be able to make use of. But it seems a reasonable sensor box that RFLink can recognise as an "Auriol v2". Maybe not in an exposed position but does the job if you want to add a sensor or two cheaply with two AA batteries lasting over a year.
