DOMOTICZ events not working without internet? Zigate not send commands

Hi,
I want to know if domoticz server is working if no internet connection...because the last night internet connection it was down for 7 hours and raspberry pi NOT AUTOCONNECT to internet and Zigate not controlled sensors and sockets all night...Today i had to restart raspberry pi to events and domoticz recorded logs to work again.

So domoticz not Working without internet connection?

I had quite few time my raspberry disconnected from Wifi and the all Domoticz management with Zigate operated without issues.

i used an wi-fi extender with lan port for raspberry pi because is Model B without wi-fi...and in base router i have reserved ip for raspberry pi. However Domoticz and zigate it did not work last night after internet connection it was down and it is a problem because heating system it's controlled by zigate

Is your Zigate based on Wifi ? In such case how does the router behave when you don't have Internet ? May be you lost the IP address and in such case loose the all intrenet connection

i use ZiGate USB-TTL is not wi-fi version

you may be right because wifi extender was off...for awhile last night. So if raspberry pi lost ip...The events and Zigate they will not work anymore?

You should have a look to the system and domoticz log on your RPI to understand what's happen

I tested and if router is off or no internet connection...domoticz switch to offline automatically

What do you mean domoticz switch off ? it shutdown ? so when the router is back and you access to the system domoticz is not running anymore ?

Yes domoticz auto switch off if no internet connection. When internet connection/router is back domoticz not running but raspberry pi it's on...i have to restart domoticz to running again. I think that is happend because of the domoticz events requiring live time(sunrise/sunset).
