Is it possible to have a devicetype that combines a dimmer slider with a drop-down selector?

For the IKEA-Tradfri plugin I really would like to have device-type that combines a dimmer slider with a drop-down selector, is this possible?

Or if someone with knowledge on how to create additional device-types could point me in the general direction on how to accomplish implementing such a new device-type...
