Implement TOON Api

Hello Domoticz Developers,

Since I have problems with reading out the information of Toon Thermostat - I found somewhere that Eneco prefers 3rd parties to use the API of Toon, I also read that the developers of Domoticz didn't implement this to Domoticz due to the low rate of possible users of the API (1000) and then it will cost money.

Is there already clear how much this will cost - can we start a petition how many Domoticz Users are using Toon (not hacked variant) and want to pay some money for it to have the API included in Domoticz?

We have to pay already € 4,50 per month. Would be great if Domoticz could connect directly to Toon.

I'd like to use Toon in Domoticz and currently I am struggeling somewhat to get it to work through the API

The easiest way is to root the Toon.
With the script on this forum you can control your Toon easlily

After doing some Googeling I managed to get the API to work. No big issue. I noted the steps and am willing to share if someone also wants to try this.

I am going to work with that for a while first.
