In the hardware settings of a RFX Pro XL there is an option Async Type

Does any one know where it can be used for?

Smart meter interface:
There is a special serial interface connection on the RFXtrx433XL PCB to connect the Dutch P1 smart meter or an interface for the French Teleinfo meters. See chapter 16 & 17 in the RFXtrx User Guide. Support for this P1 connection is expected soon in Domoticz and Homeseer.

I have this since a few weeks icm a Dutch smart meter and works perfect with domoticz beta version.

i have a proXL, but my P1 dont work.

Status: P1 Smart Meter: Meter reports as DSMR 4.2
2019-07-31 13:27:56.821 Error: p1 hardware (11) thread seems to have ended unexpectedly
2019-07-31 13:27:57.364 Error: RFXCOM: input buffer out of sync, going to restart!....

can sommeone help me
