Hi!

I’m new in the home automation world and I’d like to build a heater control system in my home.

I recently bought the Gateway Xiaomi Aqara (V3?) that works with the app Aqara Home (but not with Mi Home).

It works well, but I want to add the gateway in Domoticz (in Windows 7). And of course, it doesn’t work (all the tutorials I found are for the V2).

Has anyone been able to add the last version of Aqara gateway in Domoticz?

Did you get the key? If so, did you try adding it to hassio like this:

xiaomi_aqara:
discovery_retry: 10
gateways:
- mac: XXXXXXXXXX (miss out the ":" )
host: XXX.XXX.XX.XX
key: XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

I think nobody did because it is not possible to get those infos like with the xiaomi gateway. There is no "about" in app to press

The aqara gateway v3 should work in the Mi Home app to my understanding
Use the latest Mi Home app, choosing China Mainland as the server, and update the gateway to the latest version available

I didn't say it doesn't work. I said I'm not able to enable local functions like here https://www.domoticz.com/wiki/Xiaomi_Gateway_(Aqara)

You need an oolder version of Mi Homethe app in order to do that. Try google or seach function here

Migh Still Be notsuccessful if So You have to wait for the new version update expected In The Following months

I have a similar issue with my Aqara gateway camera...

New SW is out and nothing has changed. I can't find any option in mi home to get keys needed for domoticz. Mi home app itself is total misunderstanding.

Should work with the Mi app. I think I have the same "mushroom" here and working. I did have trouble registering the gateway with the app. The solution was (very weird) to change the DNS in my KPN (Netherlands, Telco) router from the default KPN dns to another one, I took 8.8.8.8 (google)

After that I registered, location "mainland China", Language "English" and all's working. I am adding sensors now....

How did you add it to domoticz?

Are you sure you have aqara hub? Please pay attention to the aqara logo in the center of the device.

aaaah. No. I have the "Mi" logo.... excuses.

Were you able to connect your aqara gateway to Domoticz?

Does anybody has a v3 gateway working in Domoticz?
I still can't find the password for my gateway.

I have the same- there is no About, i also cannot find password to my gateway.
Please help somebody
