Domoticz

At home I've a couple of LED strips, which are controlled with an IR remote.

I would like to control this with domoticz, now I found this website: http://www.alibaba.com/product-gs/58053 ... B.html?s=p

And I was wondering what the chances are for this to work.

The next RFXtrx433 firmware version 68 supports the MDREMOTE LED dimmer:

On z-wave side, there is the Fibaro RGBW dimmer (around 60€) :

Very cheap, ordered some..

also here for netherlands (http://www.123ledstunter.nl/LED-strip/1 ... r-Set.html) and can be found on Ebay as well. There's different variants', I wonder if all are supported by rfxcom and how one can tell.

(edit: never mind, they ship from China so it's of no use)

According to the website the controller supports only single colour LED>
So no RGB, don't know if any other will support it.

grrr... have to wait for z-wave.me to implement the fibaro dimmer into the razberry...

I found the RGB version of the MDREMOTE LED, Just ordered it for 6 euro's
Will test it when it arrives and when the new firmware is available.

Lightwaverf RGB LED strips are now appearing in the UK. Be great to control the colour changing through Domoticz - particularly through events.

I don't think they are currently supported on RFXcom?

LWRF color commands are supported in the next firmware version and Domoticz would need an update too.

when will the new firmware (68) be realeased.
I also wat to use the RGB led functions.

Note that the dx.com version cannot be controlled by the RFXtrx433!

How can this people tell if it is working or not?
