As a suggestion, perhaps we can review how the sysem assign an item to a TAB
We should be able to have a way to assign an item (switch, ...) to N Tabs
obvisouly we can have a "default" tab assign to an items, but after we shoud be able to have a relation to allow us to put items in tabs (what ever names)

hope it is clear, and be helpfull !

That is where roomplans are for

no not at all

I am linking "an item" to a tab , rooms plans have no impact / links to this proposal.
and they are not usefull for the tabs
