Suggestions for wall mounted tablet

HI all,
I want to start implementing a control panel to manage switches, monitor PIRs sensors and electricity generation/grid consumption on a samsung tab2 tablet i have.
What suggestions do people have in terms of what method to display the data?
I was planning using imperihome (i bought premium a few years ago) but that now seems to have been removed from app store and replaced with a subscription based app (Nah!).
I want the data to be auto refreshed every 5 seconds or so, without need for a browser refresh.
