How to delete a dead node?

Hi guys,
I have messed up one of my nodes - a devolo door sensor.
I wanted to wake the node to consume an updated configuration, but accidentally resetted it by pushing the internal button 4 times instead of 3 times. (Not a very fool-proof operating concept, but that's a different topic)
After that, OZW did not receive any info from the device any more. Unfortunately I was't able to do a clean exclusion in that state.
I re-included it, and the sensor is working fine. The only thing is, that there is still an old instance of the sensor in my nodes list, which I cannot get rid of. OZW doesn't mark the node as dead. If I delete it from the OZW node list, it reappears after some time.
Does anyone have an idea how I can permanently delete the node?
Thanks Dirk
