Turn off defective hum sensor in weather station?

Hello,

First of all I must state that I am a beginner at domoticz.

I found a temp+hum sensor from an old weatherstation that I used to have. The sensor still works and the signal is picked up by domoticz (via rflink. 433mhz) but the humidity sensor reading seems to be broken. So my question is whether there is an option to turn of the humidity reading and only use the temperature reading? Maybe by forwarding the temperature reading to a new dummy temp sensor or and hiding the real sensor or something like that?

I am very curious about what you guys think and what possibilities there are!

@Elduino, it is possible to read the temperature from the device receiving the temp+hum data from you weatherstation and update a virtual temperature sensor you create in domoticz. as explained here
I would not know how to do the other part of your question (hiding the real sensor)
