Domoticz

Ive had some issues before, so thats why iam asking to have a crash free setup.
Are there some guidelines for installing?


(Installing on raspberry pi (Model B V1.2)
What version of linux do i need? Noobs or Noobs Lite
Beta or Stable version?
Do i install node node red and MQTT and such on the same pi?
Do i run domoticz only on the pi and have the rest on another pi?

Any help is more then welcome

there is NEVER a grash free setup....

there is a much more stable setup if you use the SDImage for domoticz and use the latest stable version.

MQTT can run on the same box, the PI is much more capable than you can imagine.

at least check the CPU and memory usage... if they run over 90% it's maybe time to split services between 2 PI...

My setup includes:
Domoticz, MQTT, zWave, RFXCom, NodeRed, irServer, BLE service all on the same PI3b+
CPU usage under 40%....
need to split nothing...

P.S.
the weak link in the domoticz setup on a pi chain is the SDCard.... it is a good practice to back it up somtimes
