Status problem with off delay

hello,
i've setup a switch with a off delay.
it's a classic on/off interuptor
So , when i switch on it works until the off delay is reached. At this moment, my switch stop working, as it supposed to do but the switch status, on the dashboard page remains "on".
it means the real status and the status showed on pages are different. how fix this ?
i know i probably could use a script to set the right status at the automatic extinction but is this a normal behavior ?
