Create new menu items

Hi all,
It would be great if we could add menu items ourselves and add devices, switches etc. Right now I have like a hundred items under 'Switches' which really makes it a bit hard to find the one I'm looking for.
Does this make sense? As far as I could see there hasn't been a request for this until now.

if you organize your Devices by room, this can help you to find them easily...

if you organize your Devices by room, this can help you to find them easily...

Hmm...or abuse 'room' for another logical grouping to keep them together. Thnx for the tip!
But still, it would be nice to be able to create custom menu items
