Edit script on Ipad

Hi,
I’m not sure where to post this question. Hopefully it’s a very simple question that someone can simply answer but I haven’t been able to figure it out.
I am trying to edit a script from within Domoticz on an IPad. I know how to open the script (Setup/More Options/ Events). However when I select a script on the ipad, the right half of the screen moves outside the screen. This allows me to view the script full screen which is very handy.
However I cannot get the right side of the screen back which is not practical because the ‘save button’ is there. So in the current state I can edit a script on my ipad but I cannot save the changes...
On my iPhone and on Windows this doesn’t occur. Does anyone know how I can get the right hand menu back while editing a script on the ipad?
Many thanks in advance!

Hello @ll.
Just wanted to bump this issue.
Experiencing the same thing on my iPad (iOS 11.2.2).
Is there any way to get the right part of the edit screen back?
Thanks for all hints.

I’m seeing the same on my iPad Pro, both in Safari and Chrome.
I tried the ‘Request desktop site’ option but it didn’t help.

did you tried another themes, aurora for example ?
Saved events box should be narrower, that would fix this problem.
this change in css should fix this problem
Code: Select all
#savedEvents{
height: 300px!important;
}

Same issue here, and the cause is that the screen tries to adjust to the screen width. The problem is that it keeps getting wider and wider.
What I do when I have to edit on iPad (very cumbersome process) is put the iPad in portrait mode in stead of landscape. Your edit screen is narrower, but you can save at least. If you use it in landscape first and then rotate to portrait, you have to wait a while until the screen goes back to the original size before you can see the save button. You can see this in the scrollbar on the bottom of the screen.

Will this ever be fixed? It means scripts are not editable on iPad in both safari and chrome.
Should I raise it as a bug?

This issue seems to be fixed in iOS 12 beta.
Andy.

Apparently there is something that the ipad can't show properly. my kids have an ipad and I have borrowed it, and have same error. So the easy fix for me is to use my Ubuntu laptop
Why is my comment not useful?

People know it doesn’t work. That’s the point of this thread. I was offering a solution in that it appears to be fixed in the upcoming release of iOS 12, for all the people that it might be useful for.
All you did was repeat what we know already, so not a particularly useful contribution.
