[RELEASE] Paradox alarm PRT3 serial interface plugin

Hi,

New comer in home automation and Domoticz, I had planned to install an interoperable alarm system (Paradox EVO with serial interface) and get it to work in an open home automation system (Domoticz). Here it is :

To sum it up, what you'll get from the plugin :
- an open/closed switch for each alarm zone
- two switches for each alarm area
. a selector for area arming state (selector is french labeled)
. an ON/OFF for the in alarm state

You can change the arming state with the selector

To keep it simple, it does not try to discover the zones/areas from the interface. Though it would have been possible, you have to declare thoses in the plugin configuration.

Will it work with Digiplex EVO 48 firmware 2.16? As far I understood iParadox should be connected directly do RPi via serial?

Hi,

You need :
- PRT3 serial interface module plugged on your EVO board, it's compatible with all EVO boards (see link).
- wired connection betweeb PRT3 module and your Domoticz server (USB or RS232)

And the plugin will do the rest

I don't know what is iParadox though
