how to calculate year usage

Hi all,
A (probably easy) question for which I still couldn't find an answer: is it possible to calculate the year usage for electricity, gas,... based on a day to day calculation? (for example from 1-1-2017 until 1-1-2018 but also 15-1-2017 - 15-1-2018: Always the last 365 days)?
I am using the P1 / DSMR input.
