I would like to buy a new thermostat, a nest v3.
Can i adjust the desired temp from my domoticz screen?
Can i read out the nest thermostat, and see the values on the domoticz screen? (or do I als need the opentherm gateway kit?)
anybody with some printscreens on how the nest integrates in domoticz or printscreens on how you use the nest from domoticz.

Yes you can readout the Nest V3 and you do not need the OTGW

I'm tempted to buy a Nest V3 but would it be possible to have Nest integrated in my alarm and other motion scripts? In other words, does the Nest report motion or presence to a readable Domoticz switch?

Just went ahead and installed the Nest v3. It reports the Nest's status "home away" to a switch in Domoticz but that does not work like a motion sensor unfortunately. I'm thinking of disabling Nest's own home\away status as I've got presence detection in Domoticz with Ubiquiti WiFi access points and motion sensors in the house so I better use that to enable or disable the thermostat.
