Installed on NAS Synology : What's next

Post by Zmove »

Hello,

First, I'm new to domoticz and domotic in general.

I have a DSM216+II and I installed domoticz community app (found here : http://www.jadahl.com/domoticz_stable_6 ... h=braswell)

I downloaded the .spk file and made a manual installation in DSM package manager. Now I have domoticz listed in currently executing application but I only have 2 possible actions : Stop and Uninstall

What's next ? I don't have any domoticz icons in my DSM dashboard, don't know what to do...

Thanks for your help

Alex

Hello,
If the installation is completed with no error,
you should have a Domoticz icon by clicking on the "quick access" button at the top leftImage
You can also check the status of the installation by going to the package center.

Domoticz should listen on port 8084 by default, so try going to 192.168.x.x:8084.

Off-topic: ^that's quite an outdated DSM screenshot :-)
I moved to HomeAssistant. It was fun while it lasted!
