I'm running Domoticz 3.8153 under Fedora 26 x64 and I'm using the packages found i the Fedora Update Repository. The installation is running smooth and I think everything is working, including my RFXCom RFXtrx433 connected as /dev/ttyUSB0. But if I click the botton "Set Mode" in the Hardware View screen no protocols are checked and if I click "Default" then the checkboxes are cheked and when I click "Set Mode" I can see these entries in the log:

Also the "Hardware screen" tells me the firmaware are "version: 0"

I hope that someone can tell me what I have been missing og could guide me in the right direction

Do you have the hardware enabled?

Yes, the hardware are enabled and my 433.92MHz devices can communicate with the transiver, byt as you can see the version are wrong. My RFXtra433 device are upgraded with the lateste firmware (version 1022)

Problem solved

A reboot of the computer did the trick. I can not see the firmware version and which protocols there are enabled
