Domoticz

I'm trying to debug an issue I'm having with my dzvents scripts. Some of them trigger at unexpected times for example. I've got plenty of log statements set up to debug this issue, but since these events happen at unexpected times, I can't simply test them myself. I have to wait for them to happen, which means they happen when I'm asleep or away. Due to the log (in the GUI) being quite short (100-ish lines?), it's pretty difficult to be there quick enough to debug the issue.
So is there an option to make the log in the GUI show more lines, or is there a complete log file stored somewhere which I can use?

Have multiple hits, think the two below are most relevant as the Domoticz log is max 300lines and can't be extended.
So there for logging to text files is the most relevant.
