[120] opentherm gateway

It has already been mentioned in the old forum, but I would like to re-suggest it.
It would be nice if the
http://www.opentherm-gateway.com would be implemented, to read data from boiler and thermostat.
I have one of these gateways connected to a windows computer, using USB. But it would be nice to connect it to a raspberry with domoticz. It is even possible to change the temperature setpoint of the room theromostat.

if someone wants to start, that would be great (maybe use the rego 6xx as base?)
it is just connecting to the serial device and interpretate the output (and a bit more)
protocol is available on the creators site

"It would be nice if the

it's not necessary to buy this (above) :
Only buy :
one or two "
http://www.planete-domotique.com/sonde- ... n132n.html"
(18 euros)
and
one
http://www.planete-domotique.com/module ... hacon.html (30 euros) connected to the heating boiler as this exemple :
http://www.frisquet.fr/prestige--evolut ... 03_16.html
( the frisquet owner regulation is deconnected or missing)
or others device connected to radiators or central boiler
and
lua script :
http://www.domoticz.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=15&t=66 with domoticz and rfxcom

Hi jfcjfc,
I do not understander how the on/off switch ("contact sec" or free of electrical potential in english) works.
Do you have any schematic on how do you replace the proprietary thermostat (on the boiler side)? The link on Frisquet website is only very generic.
If the on/off switch only switch on or shutdown the whole boiler then it's a no go. My boiler cost too much to start playing with it
Buy looking at your lua script, i can't imagine that is that simple, so probably there is something else....
Also, how do you communicate the different orders of the proprietary thermostat ? Did you get some info from Frisquet ?
Best regards,

bistoury,
En français et en direct cela sera mieux ou plus simple (message privé)
It's not simulation, it's work with "contact sec" (dry contact ?) and others devices with dz

What kind of hardware do you mean? I have a Remaha Calenta and would like to monitor and/or control the temperature.

I am planning to order an Opentherm gateway with LAN/wifi interface. For me an USB version is not practical because my Domoticz RPi is not near the cable between my Remeha and controller.
Do you plan to support the LAN/Wifi version?

The Lan/Wifi version will/is also supported.
(Only not visible yet in the hardware list at the moment during development)
