Hi There,

After the update 3.8796 is installed, my events are not working anymore. I did reboot, but it did not worked.

I had the same problem. Check if events are enabled in settings>other>EventSystem

But it does looks like the timers are not working.
I can see the timer configurations and all timers are active

Same, timers aren't working on beta 3.8796

I did downgrade back to 3.8153

Many reports on timer issues in the latest b=Beta's ... just search for them.
