Unable to add HE302s

Hi all,
I have a Home Easy 302s (Byron), which I have successfully used with Domoticz and the RFXCOM trx433 before, but I can't remember how I set it up!
I think I used the AC protocol, however when pairing it now - the device turns on and off twice, and then when an 'on' command is sent, it flashes on and then off. An 'off' command does nothing.
I have a feeling from when I last used it a couple of years back, it thinks its receiving both the on and off commands simultaniously, but I can't remember the workaround.
Any help greatly apprecitated!
