Domoticz on Mac OSX

I’am trying to install Domoticz on a Apple Mac Mini with OSX (High Sierra).
I’m using a example installation sequence of makeitwork.biz om YouTube.
I got a failure message when I used the following command:
svn checkout svn://svn.code.sf.net/p/domoticz/code/domoticz
Failure:
unable to Connect
NO repository found.

Hope someone can help me to salve this

Why don't you use domoticz osx binary on www.domoticz.com/downloads?

I thought about that, but I am not sure if the svn file is a binary file

It comes as a zipped tar file .tgz. I honestly have no idea what.svn file is.

At the github site I found nearly the same string:
git-svn-id: svn://svn.code.sf.net/p/domoticz/code/domoticz@7 f5da7d14…
which I contains a lot of scripts
svn checkout versus git-svn-id:
/domoticz versus /domoticz@7 f5da7d14... ( looks like a part of a Mac adres )
