Hello,
I am using Domoticz with a Pi and a Razberry OpenZWave USB for some time. I have seen some projects using the ESP8266. I have looked at the different codes that are used and all of them need the SSID and password of the wireless network in my case created with the Razberry. I have been searching for some time, but where can I find the SSID of this network? Or should it be created ? Is it possible to use the ESP8266 with the Raspberry?
Some help would be appreciated,
Cees

Re: Razberry and ESP8266
Ok. I think I know what is the problem. The ESP modules are only working with a 'normal' WIFI network and not with a Z-Wave wireless network.

Re: Razberry and ESP8266
Correct: ESP8266es operate within a 'normal' WiFi-network @2.4GHz.
Set1 = RPI-Zero+RFXCom433+S0PCM+Shield for BMP180/DS18B20/RS485+DDS238-1ZNs
Set2 = RPI-3A++RFLinkGTW+ESP8266s+PWS_WS7000
Common = KAKUs+3*PVLogger+PWS_TFA_Nexus
plus series of 'satellites' for dedicated interfacing, monitoring & control.
