Hi!
i just ordered a Acer switch laptop with windows 10 , i run domoticz on a raspberry pi 3 and i was planning to use the Acer computer as a simple screen to just turn on and off my switches in domoticz.
But my questions are, is it possible to install Domoticz on the win10 computer and use it as a client?
Can i connect domoticz from my win10 to my raspberry pi?
Or is there any good windows app that i can use to connect to domoticz on the rasp?

Why not use the web interface of Domoticz to control your switches from win10 with a webbrowser?

well i guess that would work just fine, i just thought that i would get more access to domoticz that way, but it doesnt seems to work that way.
the web browser would work just fine.
but is there any other windows software that can be used to connect to domoticz server?
i would like to have the posibility to have widgets on the desktop for quick access.

My retro solution on Windows 7 uses Rocket Dock with JSON Urls, sent to the Domoticz server via CURL
The highlighted one opens a gate from my desktop.
Be interesting to see other simple solutions...

I use VNC Viewer for a long time to connect from Windows pc('s) to the dekstop gui interface of my Raspberry.
And PuTTY if I just want to connect to the commandline interface of my Raspberry.
If it is just Domoticz you want to connect to then why not just use the webinterface of Domoticz to connect from windows pc to Raspberry.
