Domoticz

I'm pretty sure this is a n00b question... But have been Googling for quite some time and I can't seem to find out where to even start!

I need my Domoticz installation to be public (for use in IFTTT). How do I do this??
I have installed Domoticz on a Raspberry Pi 2 (Linux). Is there a manual somewhere? A tutorial, something I can read without needing to be a full-blown software developer
