Door Bird and Http Poller (Poller How-To anywhere?)

Post by holly »

Hi guys,

I was searching the forum and the internet for integrating DoorBird into Domoticz.

So far I managed to build a virtual switch locking/unlocking the device.

However, for some use case I would need to look after the most recent status of door lock.
In general no problem - there is an API to achieve this.

Using
http://192.xxx.xxx.138:8080/lockState?n ... en=myToken
I can get the status and the request returns a result like:
{
“state”: 1,
“stateName”: “locked”,
“batteryCritical”: false,
“success”: true
}

I have not found any "how to" on configuring the HTTP poller - and as there are so many fields in the UI so that I am a little lost.

Can please anyone share a how-to guide or a snapshot of the configuration window as an example?

More specifically - with the above example, what needs to go into:
Content Type: ?
Headers: ?
POST Data: nukiId=xyz&token=myToken ?
Command: lockState ?

Any help is appreciated.

Thx!
