Hi,

I tried to install latest python on y win10 machine also running (python-3.7.0a2.exe)
The python was intended for other use but i could also see benefits for domoticz.

After installation of python : domoticz (.8649) fails to start.
I just get the message domoticz startup delay 10 sec.
After this windows reports the process is stopped and obviously nothing happens further on
Tried to find logs or any sign of the cause but have not be able to find any.
Uninstalling python and domoticz starts fine.

Does any body have the same experience on win10 or even found a sollution ?

I am on Windows 7, and I have been unable to run Domoticz since V 3.7377 with any version of python installed. With the event system enabled it crashes and re-starts in a loop until I disable the event system, or uninstall Python.

In order to update and try to find a solution I have installed a slave Domoticz on a Linux pc with Python and that is running my plug-ins for now.

I am in the process of reducing the various hardware that I am using by migrating 1-wire and mysensors to z-wave and simplifying until I can find out what is happening. Then when Python and Domoticz co-exist I will bring it back From the Linux pc.

I have quite a large production installation, that is why I have taken these steps to minimise disruption as my time is limited.

Yep, need python 3.x
I have win 10, python 3.5.3 ( x86 ==> important) with custom install ( all users / include in path )
This run quite stable without any trouble since many months now.

Have tried 3.5.3. Still same problem but will keep searching for the problem.

python-3.7.0a2.exe --> alpha release... hummm I would never go on it except necessary.. which is not the case for domoticz.

Thank you for this. After trying with latest release, and Domoticz crashing, I can confirm it at least starts up if you download windows binaries 32 bit 3.5.3.
