Hi all,

I am trying to find out how this sensor can be setup. I already added the sensor to my Hardware list.
After which i got 2 devices and i have added only the TemHum to my installation.

It seems this sensor only updates after a "bigger" change in temperature and/or humidity.
There are some settings that can be done to the hardware to change some values (celsius versus fahrenheit etc)

This is what i dont understand:

5. Operation Mode: 0 (current: 0)
Bit0: Disable the Flood function. Bit3: Setting the temperature scale. 0: Fahrenheit, 1:Celsius Bit5: Disable the temperature report after event triggered. (1:Disable,0:Enable)

How does this Bit0 and Bit3 setting etc work. I can only set one value on this mode, either 0 or 1 right? How would i go about setting the temp to celsius

And what does the next setting actualy do:
13. Auto Report Temperature Time: 12 (current: 12)
The interval time for auto report the temperature. 0 means turn off auto report. The default value is 12. The tick time can be set by the configuration No.20.

Does the following mean that the sensor will be read every 30 minutes (even after an event?)
20. Auto Report Tick Interval: 30 (minute) (current: 30)
The interval time for auto report each tick. Setting this configuration will effect configuration No.10, No.13, No.14 and No.15. Units of one minute. Caution1: Setting to 0 means turn off all auto report function. Caution2: The value is unsigned byte

Does the following mean that after a change of 1 fahrenheit (difference) the sensor will update? Even when i want to read celsius?
21. Temperature Differential Report: 1 (fahrenheit) (current: 1)
The temperature differential to report. 0 means turn off this function. The unit is Fahrenheit. Enable this function the device will detect every 10 seconds. And when the temperature is over 140 degree Fahrenheit, it will continue report.

It's pretty obvious that I am quite new at this stuff, i'ts pretty cryptic to me!

Shameless bump. Anyone on here who has some experience with this product?

Did you manage to get anywhere with this? Polling is indeed quite jerky.

Completely agree. I am doing tests to control the temperature of the bath and constantly the sensor "disappears" by timed out
