Goal: use Alexa to play favorites and playlists on my audio devices

I just found out that domoticz can control my audio devices. I'm thinking about
1) adding Logitech hardware
2) write scripts, lua or dzVents
3) use HAbridge, so Alexa can start the scripts
4) maybe adjust my alarm script and let my stereo play an alarm sound, or audio alerts

But it is the most efficient way to go?

Doubts / questions
1) I see there is also an Alexa Logitech skill that has less hassle to install and is more intuitive? (but worse on point 4).

2) what would be the HAbridge line? 'Play sky radio' will conflict with her built in TuneIn functionality.
3) BIG PROBLEM: Just as My Logitech Media Server -that runs on my Synology NAS- Domoticz shows only one device (squeezebox radio). Where are my Samsung TV or Marantz receiver?

LMS is driving me nuts. I can only access my sqeezebox from Domoticz

I have tried firewall settings, re-installation of Logitech Media Server (NAS), but still my Marantz and Samsung TV do not show as a player.
The Andy Grondman plugin is active,
Within BubbleUPnP the devices are visible and I am able to start music remote on those devices, using my smartphone. Also, the DLNA device are visible within another app on my NAS. It's just LMS that doesn't see them:

Not sure what your issue with DLNA on Marantz and Samsung is as I don't use that plugin. I assumed it was meant to allow your LMS library to appear as an audio source on your network for DLNA-capable players, not to make an Amp or TV look like a Squeezebox player?

Regarding Alexa/LMS, HA-bridge is really effective and easy to use. The HA-Bridge 'line' can be anything at all that does not conflict with built-in commands. This is a general Alexa pain - remembering precise semantics, remembering whether it was 'play downstairs music' or 'play livingroom music', making sure to avoid terminology conflicts, etc. But you get used to it. Within Alexa you can even have multiple phrases map to the same smart home device to help out. But things like 'diningroom light', 'dining light', 'dining table light' confuse Alexa easily.

I trigger virtual hue lamps with HA-Bridge that, when switched by Domoticz, run perl scripts that issue JSON-RPC commands to LMS. Works perfectly every time. You can see an example of this in the Domoticz LMS wiki entry on playing Alerts from Domoticz on LMS players (I wrote that example script and that wiki entry). This gives more control than just using the LMS player devices in Domoticz itself.

Just so you know, there is now a certified Alexa LMS skill in the Amazon skills store for en-US and en-GB and it needs no developer account or beta access or such. Setup is actually quite easy using ngrok. Details are at https://mediaserver.smartskills.tech
