433mhz LED controller not detected by Domoticz + Rflink

Hi,

I bought the following LED controller from eBay, it works off 433mhz and obviously would be amazing to control the LED lights using domoticz switches for on/off/dim etc :

The 433mhz remote works fine, however domoticz + RFLINK don't detect it at all under the unused devices tab.

Has anyone managed to get this LED 433mhz controller working or know what I need to do for domoticz to recognise it? My other 433mhz devices are working fine with domoticz.

Many thanks

Sounds like an RFLink issue. Do you see anything in the serial logging of RFLink if you press any of the switches?

Hi,

Yes when I switch on debug mode for Rflink it picks up every button press of the remote control, so fair to say that Rflink can intercept the airwaves OK. The Rflink is also working fine with all my other wall plug switches and PIRs.

It's just domoticz which doesn't seem to be able to acknowledge the device existence of this device, even in discovery mode from the Lights tab.

Absolutely stumped what else to do.

Thanks

How does RFlink detect your remote signals?
do you just see debug data or does it actually recognize the signals?

Note: Your remote has only1 button for on/off.
This most likely means that it transmits the same signal for ON and OFF state and it will be impossible to know/guess/predict if your leds are on or off..
Unless there is a distinction between on and off, this is not a good set for integration within Domoticz or any home automation system.
