Recover Domoticz?

Post by AthomeDomotica »

Hello all,

I'm running Domoticz on Raspberry under Xbian.

At this moment there are NO recognized devices?
Message under "Logs" is giving error Database "unable to open database file".

Can someone push me in the right direction on Internet or this forum to recover from this situation?

I've setup Auto backup, but can't find any backups folder under Domoticz?

I've got an domoticz.db file, can I reuse this with a fresh install or is it possible to install a fresh version and copy al de files over the NEW one?

Thanks in advance,

Greetings,

Mike

Hello All,

I've installed The latest version of Xbian on another SD-Card and installed Domoticz on it.
Updates the complete system including the OS.

stopped the domoticz services
Deleted the domoticz.db after coping it to domoticz.db.org.
Copied mine original domoticz.db file to the installation folder (/home/xbian/domoticz/)
Started the domoticz services

Reconnect to the GUI and al mine devices are back, YES.

This is working great, not so good for your heart

Hopefully someone can use this later on....

Cheers,

Mike
